Team communication will be done via Team App – once your child has been placed in a particular team, your Team Manager will reach out around weekly team information.
KEY START DATES
March and April are very busy times for all and some key dates are important to start noting. The home and away season commencing on Sunday April 3rd with no games over the Easter & Queens Birthday weekends. We have locked in practice games March 20th & 27th for our Junior sides (U8-16). The times and venues will be communicated in due course by Team Mangers & on the club website.
PLAYER REGISTRATION - IMPORTANT
With the team selection process commencing this week ideally we’d like all players registered ASAP to ensure they’re selected in the correct team and to avoid disappointment, if your child is not registered they will not be placed in a team.
If you have not already done so please register your player as soon as possible. Click here for full details & fees http://www.marby-lions.com/juniors.shtml
Full Payment o fRegistration Fees are due before the start of Round 1.
As the fees cover the players’ insurance, team members will need to have the fee paid before commencing play.
As part of the 2022 junior membership fee all players will receive a complimentary Marby Lions backpack & drink bottle, all new players will also receive a Marby Lions training top. For those that have grown out of their current training top we will have replacements on hand.
PARENTS, FAMILY, SUPPORTERS PARTICIPATION
The success of the Junior Football Program, becomes more successful when there is active participation by the parents and friends of the players.
Your help is greatly appreciated in many areas and to help support our teams a roster system will again be in place this season for all game day roles and Friday night meals. Once we have appointed Team Managers will be contact with further details.
