Club Treasurer Steve Scicluna was thrilled to meet Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles and Jo Briskey, the ALP candidate for Maribyrnong, to discuss the exciting capital works and equipment program planned for Marby.

Richard was pleased to reaffirm the government's support for this election promise, and its commitment to deliver on its promise after the election to be held on 3 May.

Steve has also met with Liberal party candidate Tim Beddoe, an Ascot Vale local, and invited the Liberal Party to make this a bipartisan commitment in the event the Liberal-National Party coalition forms government after the election. At this stage, they have not communicated their decision one way or another.
