Introduction

Marby Netball has had an overwhelming response in a short space of time. Registrations are up from our inaugural Spring 2025 season for both EDNA and Parkville Competitions already and we have multiple teams in each age group. Ultimately, we want all kids playing at a standard appropriate for them, and the only way to ensure this is done is to establish more teams.

TRAINING AND GAMEs 

We are part of the Essendon District Netball Association and games are played @ Riverside Sports Centre, Ascot Vale on Saturday afternoons. Training takes place at Aberfeldie Primary School on Tuesday nights.

The Parkville Competition is played on a Saturday during the day and Thursday nights depending on what age group. Training takes place at Keilor Heights Primary school on Monday nights.

OUR AIM AS A NETBALL CLUB

Our aim at Marby Netball is to create an inclusive club, that emphasises a nurturing environment, which allows boys and girls to blossom in their sporting pursuits. We want to cater for all levels and abilities, with the aim of finding equal importance in those who seek to play netball  just to enjoy it and be part of a team environment, to get just as many benefits from being part of the club, while also helping those kids who have that bit of extra ability and want to get the most out of themselves realise their potential.

CLUB ALIGNMENT​

Our alignment with the football club is one we well and truly embrace. The football club has been fantastic in helping to expedite our existence, as well as sharing our vision of introducing and then maintaining more children playing sport. We are hoping to formalise our relationship as one entity very soon, but in the meantime, look forward to the benefits of cross promoting and further advancing both our recruiting grounds.
