Maribyrnong Park Football Club (MPFC) is proud to unveil its Senior Women’s coaching team for the 2026 season.

Gabby Mahoney – Head Co-Coach
Gabby’s on field experience is impressive – racking up over 250 games and kicking an imposing 200 senior career goals to go with her extensive VFL experience at the Box Hill Hawks. As a playing coach her leadership is inspiring, and she has been instrumental in nurturing the club’s young talent.
Cain Liddle – Head Co-Coach
Cain Liddle brings a wealth of experience in football administration and leadership, including time as CEO of the Carlton Football Club, which included heavy involvement with the Carlton AFLW team. He coached in the boys talent pathways for 8 years across the Calder Cannons and Vic Metro in the National Championships and coached the Maribyrnong Park under 16 girls to a Grand Final in 2023. Cain also represented Geelong Football Club as an AFL player.
Alex Saundry – Specialist Coach
A trailblazer in the AFLW landscape, Alex Saundry’s impact stretches far beyond her AFLW playing days with GWS. Her influence in women’s football includes mentoring elite pathway athletes, media commentary, and most notably, founding one of the country’s top player management agencies for elite female talent. Alex’s unique blend of on-field experience, off-field leadership and an unparalleled network of elite female talent, brings immense value to MPFC. Her role as Specialist Coach will focus on individual development, game intelligence, and the preparation needed to compete at the highest levels.
Jacqui Vogt – Coaching Operations Director
Jacqui Vogt is the engine behind the scenes — driving operational excellence, fostering communication across departments, and ensuring the coaching team runs seamlessly. Her leadership ensures that every detail, from recruiting to operational strategy, aligns with the club’s vision of sustained success and inclusivity.
